Automatic converters for cathodic protection of inverter type and modular construction are designed for industrial application as efficient protection against electrochemical (soil) corrosion of underground metal constructions, communications, pipelines, oil stores, mounting armature and other similar objects in conditions of corrosive soil attacks at adverse impact of ground currents. Converters of built-in type for placement under cover of various types and in complete electric devices (placement category - 2).

Converters provide

automatic maintenance of given total potential (with resistive component) on the protected construction (pipeline);
automatic maintenance of given polarization potential (without resistive component) on the protected construction (pipeline);
automatic maintenance of given output current;
automatic maintenance of output voltage;
information signals exchange with telemechanic systems, directly to the controlled station or via communication modem, is carried out via RS-485 external digital interface and MODBUS RTU exchange protocol.
